Chef Rico

Chef Rico Does It Again is a place where you will find my recipes that are not in any cook book or on a food network web site. These are original backyard recipes born and raised in Texas. A few are borrowed but I always give origination credit to the owner. Cooking has been a passion for many years and along with backyard barbeques, I frequent the kitchen whipping up my own creations of meals that people often say, " Chef Rico, you did it again."

This blog is entirely for fun and a place to store my recipes and share them with you at the same time.

 Credits and Dedications

I credit this idea of a food blog to my good friend and fellow grill master Brennon Arnold. Not only is this a place to store all my creations, but at the same time others can benefit from sharing. Please use any recipe here you like as needed. A link to his blog is on my home page or click here to check it out.

I credit my wife Becky as one of the best cooks around and will take on any meal creation. She caters large groups, feeds the masses, trains the grand kids to cook, shows me new recipes, and catches the new stove on fire twice in one day. What a gal!

I credit my son Joey who has a passion for cooking and is currently pursuing a culinary degree while working part time for a large catering firm. Needless to say his life right now is cooking, carving, catering, and serving others. I hope to post some of his recipes here as well in the near future. Joey is always showing me new recipes and methods of cooking.

I delicate my blog to my dad George Cadden who taught me to build a charcoal fire and grill outdoors. Man oh man was he a great cook. I wish I had his recipes to post here. He is the one that fuels the flame of desire for cooking in me. He is one heavenly master chef.

Disclaimer: although it may appear that I am a profession chef, this blog is designed to simply be a place where I can share my recipes that I have either created or borrowed from friends. I am not responsible for any results that you may get from these recipes or cooking methods.
